Hello, Shun here.
Several years ago, when I'm still new to game development, I want to make a games where I draw my graphics asset with Corel Draw and do the programming with any of game engine out there. I am a programmer, so my design skill is so so, not too bad, but not good enough to be an artist. As you can see,
this is my article where I posted my drawing with Corel Draw and its so... not cool. That's when I realize draw with vector is so time consuming. I need something that more simple and can be learned fast.

Until one day, when I browse blindly on the internet, I meet him on his Youtube channel. SolarLune, he is an Indie Game Developer that froze my mind with his creation, with his game. He develop games on his own, draw the graphics, code the mechanics, and compose the song. And that's the first day I know about Pixel Art. And I fell for it. Pixel Art, simple to create, but hard to master. From his Youtube tutorial videos, I began to learn Pixel Art, try to draw, pixel by pixel, to create something recognizable.
The first time I draw assets for my game, I draw several characters, and some backgrounds, but on very low res. No animation, no moving things, just still images. For characters, I try to use a NimbleBit style because I think it's so easy to design several characters with only some pixel changes. And it turn out like this. I know, its not cool, but I'm so proud of it. Here it is, Unyil with Mr. Ogah and Mr. Raden.

After that, I working on with my friend to create a game about chicken and fox. We make that game to complete our task from our Institute, on a tight deadline, we use Construct 2 to save time from programming the code and focused on graphics and mechanics of the game. This time, I really trying hard to became a better pixel art artist, hopefully I can make something better than my assets from previous game. Here is the screenshot from my game, Kurkur.

And until now, I keep practicing my pixel art skill and keep drawing sprites, tilesets, and some backgrounds. Hopefully someday I can become a Hokage and bring this world to peace. And finally, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, my humble creation, Clara.
